YES - WE DID!

I called my father at 11:45 to hear his voice. The joy and the tears poured out from the Alabama born man who is now 77 living to see this day. "I wish your mother could have seen this. Now boo boo can be president," my father said with cheers of people streaming in the background.

There is an extra spring in my step. Later I will somehow capture all that I feel and share - til then - who did you call? first speak to? think about?

  1. what an AMAZING moment. this election really got people off their arses. i voted for the 1st time EVER. YEP...FIRST TIME!

    i shared this experience with my family. they are my world...my motivation...and everything that i'm about.

    change is here. change is good. people are motivated. igniting the masses make things happen. get ready!

    imagining your dad's voice...and hearing his words.. brings tears to my eyes.

  4. I am still so hyped that it's not even funny. These goosebumps refuse to settle down!!! Obama has done his part, now I'm just hoping n praying that we will do ours!! And we can start by pulling up our dayum pants!!!

  6. Shame that I have to curb myself somewhat cause of where I work. Have to pull back some. Can't wait to be in the safety net of my home...sigh:(
