Monumental Age

Ok so I am holding on to my 30's by a string - a short string but I ain't there yet! I plan on racing my tail off starting this November 9th - A 5k in Glen Burnie. The cause?- towards Arthritis (helping people with it not helping me have it:) There's a lot of meat and meaning in this one for me as I SLOWLY (hush now) enter my 40th year...better body....better mind.

What's a monumental year to you? How did you embrace it?

  1. welcome to the blogging world laura. i don't think it will ever be the same :)

every year is monumental to me. i think parenthood reinforced that the most. i embrace it by capturing it forever with photos.

great cause. good luck with the run. i didn't realize that flower children ran -- a sit in maybe, but running...no way! :)

  5. I think every year is monumental as well, although I put more emphasis on new beginnings for New Year's more than my birthday.
